Lucuma is a round fruit of a green color in the outside, with a yellow to orange and fibrous pulp in the inside. It is native to Peru.
Lucuma is praised for its astounding and unique flavor, which gives any recipe a creamy maple to caramel flavoring as well as a low-calorie sweetness. It is very commonly used in all type of desserts, including ice cream, as well as in fruit juices.
